Makkersjak
2017
I created Makkersjak back in 2017 as a school exam project, which quickly evolved into much more than just a school assignment. The concept was developed around the idea of reimagining the traditional flødebolle through storytelling, personality, and playful visual design.
Inspired by friendship, humour, and social gatherings, I created a colourful and character-driven brand universe where each product was designed with its own personality. The visual identity combined expressive typography, bold colour palettes, packaging design, and graphic elements to create a modern and experience-driven concept that challenged the often formal aesthetic found within premium confectionery branding.
The project included concept development, branding, packaging, visual storytelling, and campaign ideas, and became one of my first larger identity projects exploring how design can create both emotional connection and a strong visual universe.
